Camping
At the Happy Wanderer Holiday Resort we have accommodation to suit all budgets and camping experiences.
We have Powered, Unpowered and Ensuite camping and caravanning sites, these are large grass and bushland sites, suitable for large vans.
Camping allows you to be close to nature and enjoy the mountain views and surroundings. You can enjoy the abundance of wildlife especially numerous Kangaroos, Wallabies, and many varieties of birds.
Available for use is our indoor camp kitchen with fridges, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cooking utensils. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating is provided for our guests. You can also use the inground camp fires or hire a portable fire pit.
Cut up fire wood is available. We have a large amenities block with showers/toilets and disability access.
Your camping experience is in beautiful surroundings, set on 40 acres of natural bushland within the Grampians.
Campfires are permitted, however during the summer months fires cannot be lit on total fire ban days.
Caravans, campervans, motorhomes and camper trailers enable real holiday freedom while still providing the modern conveniences of home. An enjoyable, affordable and relaxed way to travel, holidaying with a caravan is an ideal way to experience The Grampians and Wartook Valley.
Wood BBQs, Hot Showers and Flush Toilets are provided for both Powered and Unpowered Camp sites. Wood can be purchased by the bag for your use, or you can bring your own.
